Lonzo Ball Bio
Lonzo Anderson Ball is a famous basketball player born in 1997 in California to Lavar and Tina, who are both former basketball players. He also has two younger brothers (LaMelo and LiAngelo) who both play basketball professionally.
Today, Lonzo has become one of the well-known basketball players playing for the New Orleans Pelicans. Lonzo has earned prestige because of his precision in tossing the ball and his exceptional skills in the field. Lonzo started playing for the UCLA Bruins before he was selected for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers.
Just like his two brothers Lonzo attended Chino Hills High School, and during those days, he received numerous awards for playing basketball. Lonzo led his school team, and they won several prestigious titles. Throughout his leadership, the team was undefeated, and he won the national championship. While in college, Lonzo broke the UCLA record because of his several assists in one season. Over the years, some of the awards he has won include the ‘Wayman Tisdale Award’ for being a top American freshman and ‘Mr. Basketball USA’, among others.
Off The Court
In most of his games, Lonzo plays as a point guard, which is the best position to play in basketball. Apart from playing basketball, Lonzo also runs his father’s sports apparel brand, and this has given him the opportunity to sign with other businesses and endorse their products. However, instead of signing with other brands, he preferred to start his own brand. He even went ahead to try his luck in the music industry and rolled out his first rap single ‘Melo Ball’ in 2017.
